We operate a booking system for both equipment and labs so that students can make the most of the equipment we have to offer.
Booking Equipment and Tests
To borrow any equipment or tests please come to the technicians office and see Chris or Ailsa who will be able to check out the item required. Please ensure that you have your student card with you as this is needed to check out any equipment or tests.
Most equipment and tests are available for one week loans and can be returned at anytime or renewed at the end of the loan period providing that there is no other request for the item. Video cameras however are only available for three hour loans and must be returned to the Psychology Technicians (or security if after working hours).
Please be aware that loan periods may be shortened during busy times or if a particular item is in high demand.

Room Bookings
A range of rooms are available for students to book including; SGP rooms, Observation labs and the Tutorial Room. These can be booked through blackboard by current students simply by following these instructions:
1. Log onto blackboard and click on the Psychology Subject Site
2. From the left hand menu, select ‘Psych Room Bookings’
3. Select the student bookings folder, and the room you would like to book
4. Use the toggle to navigate to the date you would like to book, and click the time slot you would like to book. Fill in the requested information and complete the booking
If for any reason you no longer want your booking please email the psychtech@lincoln.ac.uk so they can cancel your bookings.
There are also rooms available at staff discretion these include; EEG/TMS Lab, Lab J, Lab E1
